Austria is beautiful. Sarah says that it looks a lot like Colorado. (FYI- Sarah is from Colorado) This might not make a ton of sense because I'm a little tired so please just hang in there. Ok so we got to innsbrook on Sunday night and as I already stated we spent most of the night working on our marketing case study. (kill me! And its my major) Anyways the next day we presented in class and then had free time for a couple of hours in the afternoon before dinner. We spent most of our time reading up on marketing. After some reading we decided to go for a walk around our "hotel" to see what was close by. The short answer is nothing. We had no idea where we were so we wandered around and found a grocery store, that doesn't accept credit or US, and then went on a walk through some fields (singing the hills are alive- sound of music) while making our way up to the mountains. About halfway to the mountain it started to rain so we ended up walking back to the hotel. Dinner was yet again a little bit more American which was really nice. After dinner we got a group together and went down to old town where we found a really fun club/bar. We all got to know each other on a little deeper level (first time's) which was fun. Afterwards we walked back, late for curfew yet again(not all that uncommon lately) and hit the beds. Its amazing how I can still function when I have little to no sleep and yet I still go out. It's amazing! The next day we had classes and then headed up the mountains to a lake. It was amazing. The lake was beautiful and we got to paddle boat and then swim in the Austrian alps. It was so much fun. We ended up jumping in at the middle of the lake with another boat of girls and then we went skinny dipping (just me jess and sarah). It was so much fun. From now on every body of water we are there. We then went and joined the others at the beach where they had sand volleyball courts and diving boards. The lake was so cold but we had an amazing time. No one wanted to leave which is rare with all the random tours and corporate visits that we tend to go to. Dinner that night was actually kabobs. It was interesting. I'm not sure if they are trying to give us meals that we are use to or what but all the food has been relatively American but with twists. I still can't eat everything that they give us which is interesting considering that Lee is no longer eating everything that I can't. (of course lee is the blond that will never get fat no matter how much he eats or how old he gets) It's also quite annoying because 90% of the guys are losing weight on this trip and all of us girls are gaining. Totally sucks! So after the lake we were all pretty gross and tired so we ended up just chilling that night. The next day we had class and then a grad school lecture, which scared the crap out of me, and then we went to Swarski Crystal in Innsbruck. It was interesting. It was just a huge museum or exhibit that they have to walk through that leads into a large store. It was nice but also very expensive. Ryan taught me to play gin so we ended up leaving early and playing on the bus (killed Him!!!!!).
