Hola all!
Not much has changed since last time, I'm just adding more pics that were on my camera. There's also a quick video clip of a creeping plant reacting chemotactically (well sort of, more to my touch...).
For those of you wondering if I've started my project: well not really. I've been to my site once (no pics, it was a thunderstorm when I went) and it's really beautiful. The plantation is in a valley. It has approximately 30 different species planted in plots and replicated each year. There is a stream at the bottom of the valley with fish and freshwater crabs.
I'm hopefully going back to the site for some preliminary measurements ( and pics) soon but right now we're working on the methodology -- kinda tedious and boring but needs to be done.
Feeling a bit homesick but still smiling..

Hey there! It looks like you're settling in pretty good down there...Im sure you're missing your favourite partner in crime though ;) Ma and Pa Sullivan wanted to pass along that they'll miss you, but they know you'll have a great time. We'll be checking up on you all the time, so you're never really alone!! I hope everything is going well and Im sure it'll be nice to get working...you bum! Talk to you soon!!
