After Den Haag, we spent a few days in Amsterdam, which my mother has always wanted to see. I took my parents to two restaurants that I really like (Long Pura and Envy) and did touristy things like take a canal tour (on the Canal Bus, which is like a water taxi, but with limited stops and some commentary) and went to the Anne Frank Museum. My mom also bought some wooden shoes and enjoyed all the local pasteries.
