"All Aboard!" I'm sold on this train trip!

I had a hoot today - loving train travelling. Granted, I am about the youngest (as expected) by at least ten years - and probably twenty - and there is CERTAINLY no talent amongst my fellow travellers, nor amongst the staff, not even amongst the married blokes! Our group of multinational travellers includes one on a zimmer frame and another who uses the lift built into the double-decker carriage. But they are a friendly lot.
The weather has been drizzly and foggy, obscuring the best of the views as we travelled through the Fraser River valley and Kicking Horse Pass to Kamloops. We are all on wildlife duty, with some enthusiastically calling more than others. "Eagle at three o'clock!" "Cows on the left!" We have seen bald eagles, osprey and mountain sheep. The bears, cougars, deer and moose are apparently are on tomorrow's agenda. I'm still wobbling around after spending so much time out on the vestibule snapping photos and movies. See the slide show...
The food on the train has been oustanding and non-stop. I have tried bison (just like beef) and had an excellent Indian dinner tonight. Yes, this far from the heat of the sub-continent, there are Indians driving the taxis and cooking yummy samosas. More thumbnails ...
