Rule number one: don't try catching a London tube train when all of the city's population are doing so to cheer on the London Mararthon runners. The crowds shuffled to get through turnstiles, "Man Under Train" delayed trains on one line and another was closed for repairs. The buses were probably diverted and delayed even more!

The thousands participating in the run ranged from serious athletes to people dressed as 'Angry Birds' and a lady with two robotic legs who was estimated to take 2 weeks to complete the 42km course.

Today was all walking, stair climbing, jostling through East End markets and more walking for Hilary and myself.
Liz ventured out to the country to visit relatives.

It was a day of looking at some of Hilary's favourite spots.
It was also time for thinking that Pret A Manger needs to come to Melbourne and buy out Subway.
And it was a traditional English pub meal for dinner, with Hilary and her friends.

The photos tell the rest. Too tired to type another word...
