Now in Slovenia, there is not much going on in this country as for touristy spots besides the cleanliness and beauty of the capital I was staying in. Ljubljana has a population of two hundred thousand with a green river running through the center and a big castle on the nearby hill in the center of the city. I decided it would be here that I take the time to catch up on my blogs, do some laundry and check out the castle during the day. I started with a much needed shower - I have literally been traveling without one for days and my facial hairs was becoming borderline beard. I hiked up to the castle to be rather disappointed. The castle looks great from the outside but the inner courtyard was turned into a bar patio and none of the rooms were accessible to the public, just one tower in which you had to pay 2 euros (student discount price) to see the view from the tower. In the only hall was an exhibition of modern photography of Slovenia which was pleasant to gander at.
After the Castle I hiked back down, stocked up groceries at a Spars nearby and found peanut butter! I cleaned the store dry of their peanut butter, by tab for bread and fruit would have been about 2-3 euro but the jars of peanut butter stung me to the tune of 10 euros
"Service? What service? I have my laundry but no service."
I grabbed my laundry and told him why I am not going to pay for my wet laundry and had to further explain why that was just down right bad business. I threw on the wettest clothes I had to dry them on my train rides throughout the day and threw the rest in my bag to accumulate mold until Austria. I caught my train, and enjoyed a beautiful train ride through the quant little towns of Slovenia covered by rolling hills and creeks and streams. I am now typing from my transfer train to Vienna in a cabin that has power outlets! This officially makes me caught up... for now.

. After I went back to my hostel and pre-made 10 pb and J's to last me the next couple of days of meals. The hostel offered a 24 hour laundry service for 5euros, which I would pay 5euro easily at a Laundromat and I didn't have the luxury of time to wash the clothes in the sink and hang dry them all. I changed into my pj's and handed over my laundry to the staff at the hostel and blogged for the rest of the night. Little did I know that 24 hour laundry service should have read been taken to a literal sense - I was stuck in my pj's for a total of 18hours because of the negligent hostel owner forgot to put my laundry in the dryer. It was now high noon and I have got to catch my train in 45 minutes to Vienna, Austria. I demanded for my laundry back and it turns out that the doofus dried them on the wrong setting too and he reset it just 10 minutes before I had to go. He handed my clothes to me in a basked all damp and had the nerve to say to me, "That will be 5 euro." "Service? What service? I have my laundry but no service."
