I have to say this was my favourite spot, mainly because after a bit of sunbathing in the gorgeous bay we sat in plastic chairs in the sand with our wet bathers on and had a rhum, before another great Creole meal.
The first nite we were there we were having a rhum in a little local bar and there were two guys who were clearly ready to go home. As Nic talked in French one of the drunk guys turned around to see who was talking and Nic swapped back to English. We'd had a couple of encounters with well meaning locals who had a bit too much to drink and poor Nic had to speak to them because they had heard her speaking French. So not wanting him to realise she could speak French, she changed to English and the poor guy must have thought he was hearing things.
