For the past two days I have been bitten constantly by all manner of insects but it's still a price worth paying to be able to stay in this fantastic national park. The trails are hard going (9km / 6 hours today) in the jungle heat but the views are magnificent. There is so much wildlife to see and trekking to do here that you could stay for a week. Bernd (an impressively tattooed German) has already doubled his stay here and I have a feeling I'll be back someday to attempt the trails I didn't get around to trying.
Back to Kuching tomorrow for one night and then on an overnight bus (11 hours) to Bintulu further up the Borneo coast. Near Bintulu is the Niah Caves National Park where I hope to see the Great Cave (one of the largest caves in the world).
