Yesterday, we went to the Cardiff Castle... strangely located right in the middle of the city, amidst the normal city atmosphere. Once inside, there are Peacocks that roam around and will eat out of your hand. The castle, although small compared to others, is still a good visit. Very richly decorated and the tour guide was very informative and funny.
We also caught up on a couple movies. They're about a month behind over here on most movies, by the way. The Fast and The Furious 3: Tokyo Drift... Good, but not as good as the first. And The Lake House... Great! Completely impossible, hopelessy romantic, and a Chick Flick on par with The Notebook.
Today, we went to a pioneer type village where Welsh lifestyles from the 1500s to present has been preserved. 500 year old beds, 400 year old cottages. Very cool and at only $5 to park and free entrance, definitely a great value. We kept running into these school kids on a field trip who had endless questions about the US. As we live in California, I was immediately branded surfer "dude"!
