Arriving at LAX was a little weird yesterday. The road around the terminals was nearly empty and there was hardly anyone walking around outside. Kind of reminded me of that movie "The Langoliers", Steven King, I think... very strange feeling.
Anyway, waited in line for about an hour to get checked in. The flight was delayed 30 minutes, so we finally took off at about 9:30pm (Pacific). Virgin Atlantic turned out to be a great airline!
After a long flight (10 hours+) in pretty cramped seats, we arrived at London Heathrow airport and took the express train into London. Trekked the 4 or so blocks to our hotel with luggage and all and are finally ready to grab some food and pass out for 12 hours or more!
Task numero uno on Jason's list, find a cell phone that works here!
