Jason's big event for the day today was getting his hair cut. Mine was jumping off a cliff and swinging through a canyon! Jason was more nervous than me about the jump/swing. I did the canyon swing which is a jump off a 109m high platform with a 3 second free fall of speeds up to 150km/h and then a 30-40 second relaxed swing above the river. This company has over 70 different types of jumps to choose from ranking from very scary to very very very scary. I chose to do the Pin Drop swing which is ranked as very very very scary. The adrenaline junkie in me only felt nervous for about three seconds as I was standing sideways with my left foot parallel to the edge of the platform. For the Pin Drop swing my legs were side by side, leaning forward at my waist, fingers interlocked behind my back, and my head looking down. This all means that as I jumped off the ledge I saw the bottom of the canyon rushing towards me. What a fantastic experience! Although I have to admit I'm glad the cameras didn't catch my face because it was impossible to look normal during the free fall. During and after the swing I couldn't stop smiling. It was so much fun!

After my amazing thrill, I was deserving of gelato. We went to Patagonia and each got two scoops of incredibly delicious gelato. It was so fresh and tasty. The waffle cone wasn't bad either.
