Another highlight reel day. An easy paced morning complete with a long circuit bike ride with Jaxson, Daddy and Blaine started us off to a great start. Jaxson was able to put his use of pedal brakes to the test on several occasions within the campground. He remains a little hesitant still on the "big hills" (anything that looks like a hill) and sometimes tends to forget how the brakes work when holding speed, but he did very well and at no time did he balk at any of them.

Our afternoon at Bryce proved to be spectacular, stunning views around every corner with colours I thought only appeared in Crayola boxes. Photos don't really do this place justice at all, but hopefully we managed to capture the essence of the overall splendor. After about 4-5 hours in the park we headed to Panguitch for some groceries, only to find that they were closed. The fortunate part was that we were able to see the Red Canyon along the way. Wow. Shades of red I only thought Disney could create in rock.

We returned to the site before dark and in time for wieners and beans, salad and of course, only for good boys, s'mores. For some reason our son has developed an english accent when pronouncing chocolate. Or as he says it, "chot- lat". Very cute, make sure you ask him about Chot-lat before that cutism disappears. We turned in relatively early as the nights up with Blaine are beginning to add up, he's cut three teeth during the trip, but the nights have been tough.

Our plan for tomorrow is to head to Zion National Park and likely stay somewhere close by. Stay tuned for more Barchy adventures from the road in Southern Utah.
