Things have been good but pretty mundane since Mount Fuji. Thats a good thing! This small town of Takayama is very pretty and much more rural, (of course) than Tokyo. We can walk most places, and have found some pretty neat sights. We went to a spa where there are all kinds of jets and sprays that massage the body from all sides. Pretty nice place to spend the afternoon, and the kids enjoyed playing in the water. We must leave our hostel between 9:30am and 3pm, and so are spending more time sight seeing than our original plan to rest and be lazy.
Next stop is Hiroshima early tomorrow morning. Will write from there...
