Darwin is situated on the very north tip of Australia, and it's awfy remote. We originally planned to hire a car and drive onto Cairns - once we realised that this would take us about 6 days of driving through the desert we changed our mind and booked flights instead.
We had a fantastic tour of the nearby national park of Litchfield whilst we were here - it was ace!!! jumping crocs, gigantic termite mounds and swimming in various waterfalls and rockpools - all in all a great day oot.
