It was a bit uneasy at first being back on familiar soil. I forgot I had to watch what I said since people could actually understand me now. I found that out the hard way by the look I received when I mentioned somehting I should not have. And I actually missed not being able to understand what was going on around me. Now I hear everything and it drives me crazy (Jarrett speaking here).
We spent two days in Boston enjoying a tour at The Sam Adams Brewery, lunch at the Original Cheers, a walk thru Harvard Green (dreaming that I (Jarrett) was that smart), and walking the Freedom Trail. We had originally planned to spend a couple of days in Boston when we got back, but we probably both would not have minded coming straight home. The only thing was that we booked the hotel before we left with our American Express Points and they were not refundable. So we enjoyed our sort of free stay in Boston for three nights.
