So, yesterday night we took a bus to Puerto Natales. If you want to go to the Torres del Paine park you should schedule to stay in Puerto Natales... well, we figured this out once we were already staying in Punta Arenas. From Puerto Natales, the entrance to the park is still some hours away, which made even more difficult for us to plan to go to the park.

In exactly 3 hours we arrived at the small town and walked to the hostel Nikkos II. After we checked in and so on, we walked a little bit around and ate at a restaurant (which friends had reccomended) called Afrigonia, a mix of african and patagonian cuisine, really good food for good price.  Best steak I (Jarrett) have had in a long long time.

So, on the next day we took the ferry to the Serrano Glacier first glacier

. Besides the bad planning, we were also not lucky with the weather, which was cloudy and rainning off and on. The trip to the glacier took 3 hours, with a few stops on the way. These stops included a colony of some birds which reminds you of penguins, but are not; a stop at a colony of sea lions, which we only got to see one who was not even a little interested in tourists, so we pretty much only saw its back; a stop at a fishing ranch, where people had lunch on the way back; and a stop at a smaller glacier, which was not interesting at all (for me at least - Alane).

Once we got to the Bernardo O'Higgins park, we hiked for about half hour and then we got closer to the Serrano glacier... honestly, nothing special about it. It is just a big mountain of ice meeting with a lake... you will see, the pics are not amazing or anything.

On the way back, we didnt have that many stops, so the trip was a little shorter. We arrived in Puerto Natales by 6pm and then we went for a local restaurant to have dinner before catching the bus at 8 to Punta Arenas.
