We love traveling by train, but the ride was just too short about 1 hr and 30 min. for DC to Philly. We are staying  at the Best Western City Center, won't make this mistake again, very unfriendly people, it looks very old and it's not worth 150 a night!  It has taken us 24 hrs. to get used to the feel of this place.

Our legs are now used to walking and have seen/toured the following:
Constitution Ctr.
Independence Hall
Ben Franklin's grave site
Reading Terminal Market where we had our first Philly Cheesesteak at Rick's
Washington Square
Seaport Museum
Betsy Ross's House
Ben Franklin's Science Museum the Best
and the 1st Free Library in the USA from where I'm sending you this email.

you see color back there in phillie? you know the diversity of s.f.verses back east? so did you get an original betsy ross? travel safe...hoyssie
