Plymouth MASS wa nice and relaxing. We decided not to see Plimouth Colony, where people are dressed up as the Quakers and Indians. Instead we walked to see the ROCK and the Mayflower II which is a reploduction of the original. We decided to drive into
Cape Cod and make believe we were rich. The next day, on our way out we saw the
Forefather Monument. It is said the Statue of Liberty is modeled after this monument.
As we travel thru interstates and highways, we've seen trees in their glorious colors and shades of orange, red, brown and greens. The trip has been worth it just to see the change of foliage.
If you ever travel to or thru the City of Springfield MASS be careful of the freeway loops if you take the wrong one you'll end up in bum ----- egypt fill in the dashes. Jack and I were in those loops for about 30 min. Jack says, " #*&) Sprinfield," after having almost three heart attacks. On a positive note the turnpikes, paid freeways, are magnificent, not one pothole!
As I write this we are having on heck of a thunderstorm with all the works, thundering and lighting, just like you see and hear in Montana! Love it!
We are only 3 hrs. away, from Niagara Falls were we'll be spending two nights.
