For the last 3 days we have been using the T as our mode of transportation, very similar to BART. We've been to the JFK Library, walked the Freedom Trail where we saw Boston Commons, Paul Revere's house, the USS Constitution just to name a few spots seen on the walk. Also The Science Museum and went to the only observatory in Boston, the 50th floor of the Prudential Bldg. From afar we have seen the buildings for Harvard and MIT, two well known universities and up close the buildings for UMASS on the way to the JFK Library. We even rode a DUKW, pronounced duck, around the city. You just have to wait to see the pictures. I think we did a lot of sightseeing for our first time in Boston and we enjoyed every minute of it, except we have not re-energized.
Today we are off to Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower. This will be our last night in MASS.
We are driving our way back to Burlington VT. by way of Niagara Fall, to drop off the car and then on to NY.
