We begin our 2nd day in the rain at Shellburne  about 8 miles from Colceshter the city were we are staying. About 10 min. of wearing my $1.50 raincoat the sky shines and the rain stops. This museum is a must see with about 45 building  and each one showing a variety of things from.... Monet paintings to a side paddle ship all building with the exception of 1 had to be transported from their original location to the farm. Unfortunately the computer I'm using can not down load  the pics we've taken but if you want more information here is the site:

Our day did not end there we did a road trip north and drove thru 3 islands in the middle of Lake Champlain! We passed a couple of state parks and I thought of camping, as well as the cities of Swanton about 25 miles from Canada and St. Albans. Both cities had parks as the town centers, very picturesque. Tomorrow we move on.....
