Friday, August 12th We drove back to the shore house and called Kristen to check in and see if they were at the house yet. Her, Pete and Jamie were out at Grotto's eating dinner. So we called Philip to see how he and Lauren were making out.  They were on their way and we decided that we would pick up some pizza for us all to eat at the house.  Then at the house we ate some pizza and all hung out for the night.

Saturday, August 13th

This morning Jared, Philip, and Dad headed out to pick up the crab pots.  There was a pretty good haul again and they brought the pots in.  When they got back we got everything ready and headed to the beach for the day.  There was a beach party going on, which meant that there was a DJ on the beach.  We had a great time hanging out all day on the beach

When we decided to finish up at the beach we invited the Engles over for dinner and headed back to the house to get showered and dinner ready.  We decided to have some venison shish kabobs and crabs for dinner along with mom's potato salad, macaroni salad, and pasta salad.  We had a great time hanging out played Catch Phrase.

Sunday, August 14th

Today was a rainy day so we all slept in and then Kristen, Pete and Jamie headed out to go home.  Philip and Lauren decided to hit up Grotto’s for lunch and then head home.  Mom, Dad, Jared and I decided to head up to the outlets for some shopping.  Jared and I were each looking for some bathing suits and new Reef flip flops since ours are pretty much shot.  We ended up striking out everywhere until we stopped at Kmart for some school supplies for mom.  They had a lot of men’s bathing suits so Jared found 2 for the great deal of $6 each.  After Kmart we headed back to the house to eat some dinner and relax for the night.

After dinner Jared and I ended up hanging out in the living room and waiting for the Messina family to come down.  Justin had to work so they ended up not getting down until about 3:30am.  Jared and I took little naps in the living room while we waited.

The Messina family got in and we got them all set up in the bunk room.  The kids were sleeping so we put them right in to beds.  Rylie woke up though and had some trouble getting back to sleep.  She finally did though and we all went to bed.

Monday, August 15th

The next day we all slept in since we were up so late the night before.  We decided to make it a beach day.  We had tons of fun on the beach with the kids.  We took the jetski down with us and took each one out on the jetski.  Mason definitely wanted to go the fastest out of all the kids, but he ended up being done with it after a couple of rides.  Rylie really only wanted to idle around with dad on it for a little while and it took Rosie a lot of convincing by me to try it out.  She would only go out if I took her and she was in charge of how fast and how far out we went.  She also liked it when Pam came out with us.  After we went twice she wanted to go a third time and then never wanted to get off of it.  We spent a long time not that far out and eventually got up to about 13 mph

After we were done with the jetski we got out the bean bag game and the kids had tons of fun trying to throw their bean bags in to the hole.  They also all swam throughout the day.  It started to rain and we were trying to wait it out, but then it started to rain pretty hard so we all headed back to the house to get showers and eat some dinner.

After dinner it had stopped raining so we decided to take the kids in to Rehoboth to hit up the boardwalk.  Dad bought 90 tickets and we had tons of fun taking the kids on rides.  They had a good time and we used up all the tickets.  When we were done with the rides we headed out on to the boardwalk again to get some treats.  All the kids got icecream and so did Jared.  Mom, Dad and I got Thrasher’s fries and Sarah got some funnel cake.  We hung out on a bench and ate our treats.  Then we headed home to go to sleep.

Tuesday, August 16th

Today we decided to have a boat day.  We had breakfast and then made some lunches to bring with us on the boat.  We loaded up the jeep so mom and dad could drive over to the beach and then the rest of us took both golf carts over to the boat.  The kids had tons of fun driving the golf carts.

We decided to do some crabbing using handlines.  It was on and off raining so we kept moving the boat to try to run away from the rain.  We ended up catching like 14 keepers and had a great day crabbing.  The kids all seemed to really enjoy it and even though it occasionally rained on us we had a good time.  After a little while we decided to go swimming off the back of the boat.  Rosie and Mason weren’t to in to, but Rylie had a great time.  She kept climbing up the ladder and jumping off in to the water.  It was so fun.

After we decided to call it quits on the boat we started making our way back to the boat slip.  We got caught in some really intense rain on the way back and ended up having to wrap all ourselves up in towels to stay warm.  The kids didn’t seem to mind much because they had dry towels on top of them.  The rest of us had wet ones, which still helped.  By the time we made it back to the boat slip it had stopped raining though.

When we got back to the house we all got showers and made some dinner.  After we all ate we decided that all us adults would head out to the beach bar.  Pam stayed at the house to watch the kids while we were gone.  The beach bar is only open until 10pm so we hung out there until it closed and then we headed back to the house.  When we got back to the house Philip and his friend Sean were at the house.  They drove down for the night so that they could go golfing tomorrow with Dad and Jared.  We all hung out for a while and then headed to bed.

Wednesday, August 17th

The Messina’s got up early this morning and headed out since Sarah had to head in to work later in the day and so did Justin.  Jared, Philip, Sean and Dad all went out golfing.  That left mom and me to have the house to ourselves.  We worked on cutting out some stuff for mom’s classroom and making her reading crowns or whatever she calls them.  By the time I was finishing up with the crowns the boys showed up from their golf game.

We all ate lunch and then all the boys napped.  They were planning on going out and golfing again in the afternoon.  While they were napping mom and I read our books.  The boys woke up and headed out for their second round of golf.  Mom and I continued to read our books and relax.

After a while we headed out to go to Staples and pick up some supplies mom needed for school.  After we got her supplies we headed to TGI Fridays for dinner.  It was delicious.  When we finished up we headed out to drive back to the house.  On our way back dad called and asked if we wanted to meet them at Grotto’s so that they could get some dinner and we could all get some drinks.  After Grotto’s we headed home and all went to bed.

Thursday, August 18th

Today we decided to gas up everything again since it was the cheap gas day at the gas station again.  Then we decided to head out on the boat and drop out the crab pots again.  After dropping off the pots we drove around on the water and then threw out the anchor and hung out on the boat relaxing for a while.  We played a couple of card games and had a great time on the boat.  We took Nash out with us again so this time Jared and I decided to go swimming and try to get Nash in the water.  He really wasn’t up for it.  Jared ended up putting him in with us and he proceeded to swim immediately back to the boat.  So Jared had to work on getting him back up out of the water.  He likes to be in water, but he isn’t really up for swimming.  He is kind of lazy about it.  Usually he will hang out in water until it gets to the point when he needs to swim and then he turns right back around.

When we got back to the house we got cleaned up, ate some dinner and then headed down to the beach bar.  We decided to head there so that we could watch the Steelers/Eagles preseason game.  We had a good time hanging out at the bar watching the game.  After the game we headed back to the house to go to bed.

Friday, August 19th

Today we got up had breakfast and then Jared, dad and I headed out to check the crab pots.  Our first three pots didn’t really have too much in them but the last pot was pretty full so we ended up with a pretty good amount.  We re-baited all the pots and dropped them down again.

When we got back to the house my parent’s friends the Nolans had just pulled in to the driveway.  They were getting all unpacked in the house and then we all ate some lunch.  When we were done lunch we decided to take the boat out to head over to the Rusty Rudder in Dewy.  We had a great time hanging out at Rudder and trying out their different frozen drinks.  We ordered some food to much on also.  Then I drove us back to the boat slip and pulled it in with ease.  I am getting way better at this so I think I will be more comfortable taking the boat out without dad soon.

After we got back to the house we hung out and made some drinks.  Afterwards we all headed to bed.

 Saturday, August 20th

We got up and had some breakfast.  After breakfast mom and dad took the Nolans out for a golf cart ride.  When they got back we headed out on the boat to pull up the crab pots.  We had a good catch and took the cleaned crabs back to the house.  We all ate lunch and then headed to the beach for the day.  Mrs. Nolan brought some filets with her so we decided that we would have them and crabs for dinner tonight.  Jared and I decided that we would head out tonight after dinner to head in to Philadelphia for a party.

We had a good time hanging out at the beach and then Jared and I headed out around 5pm to go back to the house to get dinner together.  Dinner was delicious.  We had the filets, crabs, and zucchini and squash.  After dinner Jared and I packed up the car and headed out for Philadelphia.
