We got up today and hung out at the campground for a little bit. Our appointment wasn't until 1pm and the campground was only about 15 mins away from the shop. We left around 12:30pm so that we would make sure we were on time. It was good that we left when we did because we did have a little trouble getting to the glass place. The Sioux River is flooded so the exit we needed to get off at was closed. We were able to get off the next exit and after having a couple of more streets closed on us we were able to make it to the glass place. When we got there it seemed like it was going to be an issue because we were too tall to pull in to the shop. Luckily the back door of the shop is higher so we were able to pull in that way. Apparently our insurance agency had told them we were a large van. Like I said we were able to pull it in to the back door and everything was ok. The guy told us it would take two hours so we walked around for a little bit. There wasn’t much going on and the area we were in wasn’t really that great. We ended up spending a lot of time at a table out front of McDonalds so that we could use their wifi.
After finishing up with the windshield we decided to make it a full service day for the RV. We drove over to the Ford dealership in South Sioux City to get the oil changed and the brakes looked at. It was a brand new building so their waiting area was really nice with flat screen tvs, leather chairs, and popcorn. We were able to bring Nash in with us and they had it done really fast. Everything was good with the brakes he said we probably just had some dust in them or a rock which could have attributed to the squeaking (this probably happened when we were on the dirt/gravel road in the Badlands). It was priced really well to so we were happy with the service.
When we finished up at Ford we stopped in Walmart for some things we needed and then headed on our way.
