Where I stayed
Flintstone’s Bedrock City Campground
It was only about another 4 miles from the Crazy Horse Monument in to Custer. We had decided while we ate lunch to stay at the Flintstone's Bedrock City Campground. There is also a Flintstones theme park located near the campground. The theme park cost $10 and we read in reviews is not really worth it. We aren’t sure what all there is to do in there but we could take some pictures of things from the parking lot so we decided to skip the theme park. The campground was neat, cause it defintely was Flintstone's themed. All the buildings where shaped like they were in the show and painted brightly/cartoonishly. It was fun. After getting settled in we decided to ride our bikes in to town to check it out. It is a cute little town and we walked up and down the main street popping in and out of stores and checking out the painted buffalo that were around town. We stopped at the Naked Winery to do a wine tasting. It was fun but we weren’t too crazy over any of the wines so we didn’t buy any
Tomorrow we will be checking out the Badlands.
