Saturday, July 9th

It was only about another 4 miles from the Crazy Horse Monument in to Custer. We had decided while we ate lunch to stay at the Flintstone's Bedrock City Campground. There is also a Flintstones theme park located near the campground. The theme park cost $10 and we read in reviews is not really worth it. We aren’t sure what all there is to do in there but we could take some pictures of things from the parking lot so we decided to skip the theme park. The campground was neat, cause it defintely was Flintstone's themed. All the buildings where shaped like they were in the show and painted brightly/cartoonishly.  It was  fun.  After getting settled in we decided to ride our bikes in to town to check it out. It is a cute little town and we walked up and down the main street popping in and out of stores and checking out the painted buffalo that were around town. We stopped at the Naked Winery to do a wine tasting. It was fun but we weren’t too crazy over any of the wines so we didn’t buy any. At least we didn’t like them enough for the price they were. We did enjoy all the names of the wines. They call themselves the naked winery because they don’t add anything to their wines (no sugars, starches, etc.), but all the names play on the naked name and are provocative. They were pretty funny. After we finished up with the main street we headed back to where we parked our bikes to head to the campground. On our way back to the campground we stopped in the parking lot of the theme park to take some Flintstone's pictures and buy a magnet from the gift shop.  When we got back to the RV we made some dinner, watched some tv and I caught up on at least typing up the blogs. We will see how far I get in posting them tonight.

Tomorrow we will be checking out the Badlands.
