Sunday, June 12th

We are staying the night at the Copalis Beach RV Resort, which is part of Sunrise Resorts. It is included in our Passport America membership so it will be $15 for the night. There really isn't much to do here and it is raining outside. We have to pay for wifi so we decided to just write up the blog and we will post it at the next location we have internet for free. We did take Nash on a walk to the beach though. The beach is basically just over some dunes from the campground. I forgot the camera though so I didn’t get any pictures of it. After that we blogged and watched a movie.

Since you were in Aberdeen and Copalis Beach while it was raining, you probably got a feel for the dreariness. One of my good friends lived in South Bend-Raymond near Aberdeen during her teenage years. That area has the highest rate of alcoholism and depression in the entire state of Washington! They attribute much of it to the dark, gloomy and wet weather. Thought you'd find that an interesting fact. By the way, it started pouring rain here late Sunday afternoon as well. Such a wet spring!
