Where I stayed
We took the Pacific Coast Highway to the Malibu Beach RV Park. There are some great views from our campground, so we took a bunch of pictures. When we checked in to our campground they told us that we could get 10% off at the seafood place down the street for dinner so we decided to hit that up. The place was Malibu Seafood and it was a really cool little place that overlooked the beach. You order in a little shop and then pick up your food to eat out on the picnic tables. Apparently it is a BYO spot, but we were unaware of that when we went. It was super cool though with people bringing little tablecloths and wine to have with their seafood. I of course did not have seafood and just went for chicken fingers and fries, but Jared had some scallops and shrimp. We both enjoyed out meals and the cool place we ate at.
After finishing up dinner we headed back to the RV to plan some stuff for tomorrow, blog and watch some tv
Oh and I forgot we had a little bit of a bathroom issue today. Jared had somehow pulled off the foot pedal that flushes the toilet a while ago. He put it back on immediately, but it hasn't been working right every since. It is supposed to automatically come back up after you step off of it. He decided to take the time today to try to fix it. However, when he pulled off the foot pedal and some other part water came running out like crazy. Luckily I jumped up immediately, ran outside and turned the water off. You would think he would turn the water off before working on the toilet, but I guess that thought didn’t cross his mind. For those of you that don’t know this has happened before with me and my dad working on the dishwasher with the water on still. It is a hilarious story that still cracks my whole family up. I had this past experience I was quick to shut off all water sources.
Anyway once we got the water all cleaned up, lucky thing we have a wet/dry shop vac, Jared was able to continue with the repairs. The owner’s manual was not much help on how to put all the pieces back together, but we did some searching online for a good guide. We were able to find the instructions and after a little while Jared had all back together and working correctly. YAY!!
