Friday, April 1st

Happy April's Fools Day!!!

We headed out from Perry, FL this morning around 11am and drove to here. It ended up taking about 5 hours since we decided to do some different roads to avoid the major highways. The ride is always more interesting when you aren't just on the same highway for 300 miles. We ended up driving right through Tallahassee by the Capitol building and then the Florida State Stadium. The Florida State Stadium was huge and pretty cool looking.

We listened to the Phillies game on the radio on the way to the campground. It made the drive go by really quick, but of course they were in the 9th inning when we were getting close to the campground and having to pay attention. Jared and I were so in to the game (it was pretty intense) and I totally missed a turn the GPS was telling us to take. At least it remapped pretty quickly and we didn't have to go to far out of our way. But man those Phillies really get me. HAHA.

We got to the campground around 3pm and headed to the bay with Nash to check it out. Jared got Nash to go in the water some, but he definitely doesn't like going past the point where he can't stand. I think he is lazy and just doesn't like swimming. But it was fun to play in the water with him some. After that we headed back to the RV, cleaned up Nash and then hit the pool. We just had some leftovers for dinner and now are going to just hang out.

Tomorrow I think we are going to head to Baton Rouge to spend the night.
