Thursday, March 3rd

This morning we got up, took Nash on a walk and then biked to the beach. Unfortunately it was pretty windy out so it was a little bit chilly on the beach and we got covered in sand. We stayed for probably an hour and a half and where the only people on the beach actually sitting. All other people were just walking up and down it or it was workers cleaning the beach.  We had a good time hanging out and reading our books though.  Then we biked back to the camper, had some lunch and hit the road.  We headed to the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida.  The museum was free and really cool to spend some time in.  There were tons of models of aircraft carriers and tons of different jets.  We were able to climb in to some and test them out.  There also are a bunch of different simulator rides you could, but you had to pay for them so we opted to skip them.  We spent a couple of hours here though checking out all the different jets.  After leaving the museum we headed to Joe Patti Seafoods also in Pensacola, Florida.  We decided to get some scallops, shrimp, fresh bread, hummus, and a mix to make hush puppies.  We were originally planning on staying at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park in Port St. Joe, Florida, but luckily Jared called to see if we could book a site and they said that we couldn't make a reservation and we wouldn’t be there before they closed so we couldn’t go there.  So we looked up some other campgrounds and decided to head to Grayton Beach State Recreation Area in Grayton Beach, Florida.  Once we got here we got set up, took Nash for a long walk, and are now going to cook up seafood for dinner.
