. Luckily no one followed us. We made our way to Parker's and spent a great evening hanging out and catching up with Parker and Greg. Parker made a fabulous dinner and we had a great time. It took Parker's dog Jaspar a while to warm up to Nash but he finally let Nash hang out to the point where Nash felt comfortable laying down on Jaspar's princess pillow. He looks so cute on it.
After leaving Parker's house on Thursday we decided to stop at Boordy Vineyard for a wine tour and tasting. We got to taste about 8 wines and had a personal tour for the two of us. It was very informative and we have decided that we could totally start up a vineyard. While at Boordy they suggested that we go around the corner to a brand new vineyard DeJon. This guy basically cleaned out his barn of all his tractors and set up a place for him to have tastings in it. He had 7 different wines to try. They were all pretty good and we got to learn how he decided to start making wine. His first year of bottling wine was 2009 so he is really new. It was pretty cool to check out a large vineyard and a small one. Once we were done at DeJon we headed on to Leanne's house.
After the Herr's Factory we headed to Parker and Greg's house to spend the night. They both had to work so Parker suggested that we go to the US Army Ordnance Museum on the Aberdeen base she works at. It is 25 acres of tanks and stuff that you can get in to and take pictures with. Unfortunately Jared and I had some issues getting there. First we went to the wrong entrance and realized when the sign said if you are a visitor turn around and gave directions for the correct entrance. Then while approaching the correct entrance we again went to the wrong gate instead of the visitor's center. We made a nice u-turn immediately through the gate and headed to the visitor's center to check in. Once inside the visitor's center we were informed that we were again in the wrong location and needed to go around to be inspected. There really wasn't room to pull a u-turn so we decided just to leave. On the way out we realized that they probably decided that we were terroist in a motorhome since we decided to leave once we heard that we had to be inspected
