Sunday Oct. 13th; leaving CT.  going through New York.  By accident got off the Interstate to see if we had a flat tire on car.  Thank goodness we didn't.  Got a scenic route through Tarrytown, New York that was not in the plans.  It was beautiful.  Didn't like this route in an RV pulling  a"TOAD." It sure made me tighten up.
It was scary going over the Tappan Zee Bridge with the Hudson River below.  Lots and lots of water beneath me.
Hitting a little section of New Jersey as we head back down the coast.
October 14th:  Heading to Gettysburg, PA. Leaving the ocean view alone for awhile.  Seeing, mountains and mountains.  Leon loves history.  So we have booked Artillery Ridge Camping Resort for 3 nights.  Leon is an amazing man.  How he can remember all the wars and dates blows my mind.  His dad was like that too.  I can remember when his dad took a bus tour to Williamsburg, Virginia.  He was so excited about what all he had seen.  His mind was always super sharp.  How I miss that man.
Oct. 15th:  Today we are experiencing the battle of Gettysburg and getting a taste of history.  We could have brought a horse with us and rode the battlefield with a new perspective.  LOL.  The campground has a National Riding Stable and provides horses for a steep fee of $80.00 per person.  "I THINK NOT."
