On Rob's first full day in Japan, we took him out to Osu, a large arcade mall that we visit quite often for shopping and the like. The mall is bordered on the west side by Osu Kannon Temple, a massive structure with a large courtyard that frequently hosts flea markets and other events. When we arrived, we found the place teeming with people who were there for a festival (we're still not sure what it was called). Throughout the day, there were parades of musicians and dancers passing through the halls of the arcade. It was pretty cool, and the first time Chris and I had seen a festival there.
