TUESDAY - Well today is a sunny beautiful day but the wind is so cold again.

St Michaels Mount - I have always wanted to go here but never made it so happy to be going today. A church built on the summit of the island after the Norman invasion when St Michael’s Mount was granted to the Benedictine Abbey of Mont St Michel in France. Brimming with treasures of a past life, the medieval castle has been passed down through generations of the St Aubyn family and is still home to James and Mary St Aubyn today. You can tell its cold because I am wearing a hat, out of respect for my poor little ears. The Queen was here for afternoon tea the week before us.

Lands End -The beautiful scenery of Land's End has made it one of Britain's favourite destinations for days out. At the most south-westerly point of mainland Britain, you can appreciate fully how the relationship between land and sea is constantly changing. You should also appreciate how flipping cold it was so the photos are courtesy of Michael and Donna because Anita and I refused to get out of the car!!

Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened.
