Hi everyone,

So, we went to the beach yesterday. The tide was out and we had a great time enjoying the waves. Morgan in particular loved it. Every time a wave came in he would put on his mask and take a flying leap into the wave. We all had our sinus cavities rinsed with salt water more than once but it was fun anyway. We found some more shells to add to our collection. Amazing pink shells like I've never seen before.

Darcy lost another tooth yesterday. She has lost one in each country on this half of the trip. She was thrilled to find 1500 colones under her pillow this morning. Boy this tooth fairy is rich! ( although a few years ago it might have been in the millions!)

We are busy trying to  finalizing our planning for Costa Rica. We are hoping to go on a hiking tour of the rainforest tomorrow and to a butterfly farm the next day. We have decided to stay 3 extra days here at the Tucan hotel as the kids are having such a great time with Nelson and Oliver McPeak(the children of the owners) and Andrew and I are having a hard time escaping the evil clutches of the hammocks!

We have met some nice people here and are enjoying the lazy life. We are looking into moving on to Santa Maria de Dota or San Gerardo de Dota areas which is between here and San Jose. It is a nice middle place to stop on our way back  to North America (as we fly out of San Jose) amd there are some nice rainforests and the newest national park there.

Hope all is well with you all. Looking forward to emails from you letting me know how you are.

Julia
