Hi,
So on our first day we visited Santa Fe Island and were thrilled to see so many animals. Sea lions, frigate birds and blue footed boobies, Large Iguanas and small red throated lizards. We had hoped to snorkel here with the sea lions but there was not enough time. That night we sailed through the night to our next Island (I will have to add the name in later). It was a bit of a rough night. When you aren't used to sailing on the ocean it is hard to sleep. Although none of us threw up we did feel a little sick at times. One of the other passengers (who ironically works on a ship in the Netherlands) was very sea sick.
(I am writing this after the fact and am having a difficult time remembering what we did on each day). This was our first day of snorkeling. I was a bit nervous as I generally like to pretend that there is nothing in the water with me. I couldn't pass this opportunity up though as I knew I would never get it again. It was incredible to swim here. The water is beautiful and clear. The fish were incredible. Andrew and Morgan saw a flat fish the colour of the sand. It was so well disguised that they only could see it if it moved. We did have the chance to swim with the sea lions but not to the extent that we would have liked.
We visited two islands today and snorkled at each one. I will add pictures but they may not be from this particular date. More thumbnails ...
