Who can burn faster than anyone else? I can!! Man this equatorial sun is strong! I stood out in the sun for like 5 minutes and was burning. The kids figure I'll be the first to burn up in a volcano too!
We had a nice day wandering the streets of Baños. Trying to figure out who to hire for horse back riding. We also went to the thermal pools. (DId I mention them?) Baños is famous for them. They are supposedly healing too. Andrew and the girls had a nice swim. I stood on the side and turned red. Morgan stayed in the shade. We had a great mexican meal at "Ponchos" there are a lot of rav. reviews of this restraunt around town. Andrew and I ordered 1lb of fajitas (for $9). Brett had two beef tacos for $4 and Darcy and Morgan each had Nachos $2 each. The the kids and I each enjoyed a crepe with ice cream and chocolate sauce for dessert ($1.50 each). There was a parade through the streets tonight. It must be for carnival. Nobody mentioned it to us so we already had the kids in bed when we heard the bands start up. Andrew went out to watch and the kids saw it from their window. Its too bad we didn't know in advance. Tomorrow I will be sure to ask around if anything is going on. I am trying to download some pictures so I can update the blog. For some reason the computer is not recognizing some of the shots but I should be able to get some pics up anyway. (If not tonight then tomorrow). I only have a half hour (10 minutes left)on here (hostal rules) and it might take that long for the photos to download from the camera. Anything knew and interesting at home? I love getting your emails. See you all soon Julia
