Fun and Games

Thanks for emailing me! It was nice to have a lot of news from home. Keep it coming!

I am keeping up my end by writing here more often. So, today we were supposed to take a walk with our class up to the top of a mountain here in Quito that has a statue of the Virgin Mary on the top. But it was raining and ´cold´ according to the locals so we stayed at the school and played games instead. This was actually a lot fof fun. It was good to see the children laughing at spanish class! It also gave me some ideas for fun games that you can teach with.

I finished my book after class. I just scarfed that one down.

I just heard from my friend Dawn that there is a boy at CHEO in Ottawa looking for a lot of birthday cards. KISS FM is collecting them so if you have the time (and who doesn't?) drop the kid a card. (This is not one of those internet hoax things call KISS FM if you want to check)
