So I got a phone call last night!!!!! : ) Yes my frined Sharon called and it was so nice to have a chat with someone from home. Even if she killed herself laughing at me being called "Hulia" by Olga. (Sometimes I even get "Hulita" as a nickname).
We started our second week of classes today. Brett and I went home early as Brett was not feeling well. I think this was due to her not being with Darcy and Morgan today in class so we are going to go back to all three of them in one class tomorrow.
Andrew and I booked our trip to the Galapagoes Islands yesterday. I┤m really excited! (I hope none of us get sea sick!) I also hope our tummys are all feeling fine before we go. I am now trying to sort out our time in Costa Rica. Between our spanish classes ending and our trip to the Galapagoes we are going to spend a week in the Ba˝os area (which is a word that oddly enough also means bathroom- I hope that is not a bad omen...)
I picked up this years season of "LOST" at a DVD store yesterday. I was very happy about that. There are only 5 episodes on it (one I had seen already) but still a welcome taste of home. I guess the 2007 episodes are only just about to start up now.
I had soup with fish in it at breakfast and lunch yesterday. Who┤d -a- thought it? I am eatting all sorts of stuff I wouldn┤t have ever chosen to eat at home. So far so good (or at least alright).
I hope all is well with all of you. I am always looking in my email box for letters from you...
Take care,
