¿Commo esta? Hi , How are you? We have started our Spanish classes today and are really enjoying them. Morgan seems to especially enjoy them. We are staying with a family who has hosted spanish students for 20 years. There are two other students living there too. Inca who is from Holland and Rachine who is an authentic Swiss country girl! We had an uneventful but long drive from Panama city to Miami. Then we got up the next day at 4am to return the van and get to the airport for our 7:30am flight (I hate the 2 hrs ahead of time deal). The flight went well although there was a LOT of turbulence around and durring the landing in San Jose. (someone lost their cookies) None of us felt too great on arrival in Quito. We went to bed early and all feel better today.
While we were away we missed the big 60th birthday party of my brother in law, David. I´m hoping people who were there will send me the rehash as you all know I hate to miss a good gathering of friends.I hope David had an excellent time celebrating with his friends and family.Happy birthday!! The internet is much cheaper here. .70 US an hour.In Panama city it was $2.50 an hour. We haven´t decided what to do here in Ecuador other than the Spanish classes and a trip to the Galapagos Islands. Anyone have any input? It sure was nice to be home over the holidays. Seeing everyone was great. I have to say though that life on the equator in January is pretty sweet too!
