Crawling through boxes?

So Andrew was talking to the kids the other night and asking them - "Do you know what you kids can do better than your Dad?" and without skipping a beat Brett says "Crawling through boxes?" We all had a good laugh as the conversation was very clearly leading to the the answer 'speak French' but Brett was in her own little world thinking about the fun she'd had one day with her friends Destin and Brie crawling through boxes!

So, we are in Monastir and the place we are in reminds me of our first apartment. So travel isn't so glamerous sometimes. BUT we walk out the door cross the street and are on the beach. We are also close to stores, banks and everything else we need.

Which brings me to something that all this travel has brought to our minds and we spend a lot of time discussing these days. What do we really need? At the end of the day what do we want out of life? What do we need to make us happy? Obviously we are lucky enough to have more than what we truly need to live. The other interesting thought is how does a dream morph over time. When we start wishing for something does the reality really live up to/exceed/or be totally different than the orignial thought. When you dream of having a dog do you really picture the 18 years of picking up dog poop?
