Thanks for the comments some of you are leaving. Jill I can't believe it is already snowing!! DB do I look like the Queen because of all the grey hair? (I can read between the lines!)

So we have arrived in Ireland. We got in at dinner time last night. It was our first flight with Ryan air and it was nerve racking. The flight was fine. The nerves were going before the flight because I wanted to avoid checking as much baggage as possible (you have to pay £7 for each bag double that in CDN and multiply by 5--come on you all know how thrifty I am) SO we we put all the things that can't go on board (read almost everything) in Andrew's bag and checked it. Then we squished all the other bags as much as we could. They were very iffy as to whether they would fit in the little metal cage that tells you if you can carry it on or not. I'm also a rule follower supreme (as I'm sure most of you know) So the idea of them catching us before we got on the plane and telling us we couldn't take the bags on had me in knots.

We arrive

Well, they didn't even look twice at us or our bags. We all got on. Morgan and Brett had window seats (Darcy had one on our way to the UK). Morgan said that the land below us looked like the SIMS. Brett had a good giggle at how a truck looked like an ant.

Oh ya, we did lose some things going through security. We had been careful with our bags but forgot Morgan had a first aid kit in his. So we lost a pair of scissors and some polysporin. Oh well, that's life. Things to remember to do next time.

I better go. Andrew and the kids have started doing homework upstairs and I should be helping. We will then be off to explore the city of Dublin.
