Well, things are all starting to come together. We had dinner with the Sparrows (Thanks again Mike and Dawn) on Thursday. We saw their pictures from Turkey and borrowed their LP books. They also gave us a copy of their packing list which will help us keep things to a minimum.
We have all of our flights around Europe, Turkey and Tunisia booked and I have a car rental arrangement made to get us to Miami and back in the new year. The only flight left to book is our flight to Ecuador/Costa Rica in January.
Today we went to MEC and bought 3 sleeping bags for the kids. They are very light weight and pack up small. The idea is that if we are staying in people's houses we can hardly expect them to have blankets etc for 5 people.
So, tomorrow I have to go to the dentist (YUCK!) and it happens to be Andrew's 35th birthday (YEA). We have to try to pack our bags and see how the look, feel and weigh. (Maybe go to the airport and check if they will work as carry on)
We bought some books yesterday for the girls school work. I still need to get a math book for Morgan though. Better add that to tomorrow's list!
All of a sudden there is a lot to do (mostly tieing up lose ends) and not a lot of time to do it in.
We are happy that we changed our minds about going to Thailand as today we have heard that there is a military coup happening. I hope all will be alright there.
I better go. Maybe the next time I write I will be in the UK! Julia
