Packing isn't all it's cracked up to be. Well, I guess it's not really cracked up to be all that really is it? Moving would be easier if we were actually moving out. As it is we are having to go through all of our possessions with a fine toothed comb. "Do I really need my bootleg tape of a live U2 concert in Chicago from 1987?" (answer - Yes, of course!) Seriously though it is hard having to get rid of stuff. My family moto is "Better death than change". This is like a slow death. Everyday having to decide to get rid of my things. OK, I have to admit that it is also liberating. (Don't tell anyone I said that though). We have now sold our living room furniture and the downstairs couch. The treadmill has been moved to the garage in hopes of someone coming to buy it. The kids have emptied their dressers. He have a box for Uncle Rick's for when we spend Christmas with them. A box for stuff we are taking to camp for the summer and a box for Julie and Chris'. (They have generously offered to put us up for a month- fools [ha, ha, ha]). The beds are half apart, mattresses on the floor. Things are coming along nicely.
On another note, I just purchased our tickets from Dublin to Nantes Frnace. ($171.86 CDN for 5 tickets)
Things are really accelerating. I have only 12 teaching days left! This weekend was my last weekend at home. Next weekend we go to camp for a work weekend and then the next weekend is the start of the Senior staff pre-camp, then JR pre-camp and finally campers arrive on June 30th!
I guess I better go. There is still packing to be done!
