Wahoooo! We have just purchased our tickets to Europe! We leave with Air Canada on Oct. 3 and come home to Ottawa on Dec. 19th. It is so exciting to finally have a ticket in hand and know for sure we are going. Next step is to finalize our trips within Europe and purchase these tickets. Our current hang up is our flight to Tunisia. It seems that the cheap airlines fly to Tunisia up to the end of October and then only the main airlines fly there (which means $$$). A few of the cheaper airlines haven't set their schedules yet for the end of November.
Andrew and Darcy are busy as I type getting our 2 first aid kits together. All the medicine etc is spread across the dining room table and they are packaging it up into two kits.
Our next stressor is the house. We really want to get it rented out. The sooner the better to make the agreement. Our preference is to rent it furnished to someone we know. We have one possibility that we are hoping will fall into place. I spent a fair bit of time on Friday cleaning to prepare for people to see the house. It would be great to have the place rented out from July 1-Aug 30 2007. Hopefully I can work up at camp next summer too.
