Going to work everyday is getting harder and harder. Mondays are the worst. Andrew and I delay getting up and invariably one of us says "Wow, this work thing is really getting in the way of our trip planning!" We somehow manage to get ourselves up, dressed and the kids fed and off to school we all go. Each night we do a little trip planning.
I had a brain wave of an idea the other night (not that I want to brag or anything). We were sitting around trying to find accommodations in the various cities we want to visit in Europe and were disappointed in the prices. We were figuring that you could get a much better price if you were there in person. Then I thought. Hey, why don't I e-mail a bunch of schools in the cities we are going to and ask for their help in finding places (or maybe they would even be willing to put us up). So I wrote an intro. letter and sent it off to about 30 or more schools. I was very excited today to receive 3 replies (and a few no delivery messages). I have emailed these people back and am awaiting replies! Very exciting!
I guess I have blah blahed enough. Andrew just walked in and when he discovered what I was doing he said "You know the trip doesn't start for another 8 months eh Hon?" Well for me planning is at least 1/4 of the fun of the trip. So I guess I will go on blah blahing here for the next 8 months.
