We leave for the U.S. tomorrow a.m. while you all are sleeping back home. Thanks for all of your comments and for following our trip. Our friends in Africa were excited to know you are learning about their country and the needs of their children....and most of all they are truly
grateful for your support and prayers. I pray for continued peace in Liberia!
We arrived in Brussels this morning at 5 a.m. and were able to check in early at the hotel to shower and sleep. The contrast from Africa is shocking, literally. It is in the 50s and rainy. The hotel is 5 star, beautiful and luxurious. We are trying to overcome the guilt about spending money on the luxuries...it is a strange feeling. We toured the Royal Palace and gardens today, bought chocolate and drank coffee (so good). Dawn is treating herself to a well deserved massage. She was awesome in Africa! She was great at taking care of the all the donation details and gifts and didn't hesitate when there was a need. Rosie gave her a nick name, EB, energizer bunny, because she never stops thinking.
