This is just going to be short as we've only just arrived. The journey out was fine except that Caroline learnt that if she put up the armrest she could have a bigger chair and get some proper sleep... Genius!! I on the other hand was squashed and fighting for foot room with the lady on my left who thought that if she used my space she might be more comfortable.
Arrived and were daring and took the bus! Thought a taxi was a little posh. Met a irish chap on the bus who told us about a back packers on Kohsan (Spelt wrong) road.
Good feed, drinks and pool we went to bed and shivered all night due to a very eager ariconditioning unit! Apparently peole party very late as we woken by revellers returning at 5.30 this morning.
Woke up this morning to remember that we didn't have visas for Vietnam and we had planned our trip all wrong. So instead of off to the beach tomorrow we have to wait till friday when we head off to Chang Mai for some trekking.
Got duped by a TutTut driver this morning and taken on a tour of his contacts. Suits, Travel the lot. Very boring and not very informative. Decided it is time to take things into our own hands.
Sorry this is so short but need to get on and organise some things for the rest of the week.....
