Thats right, only one more destination - Venice- to go! But what a place Verona is! I think we have used the words beautiful, stunning and amazing loads over the last 2 months but Verona is beautiful, stunning and amazing!!
We left the brits and the rain and the arctic winds behind in Rimini and entered the hot and sunny Verona and was instantly wowed by the location of our new digs - right next to the old castle and a 2 minutes walk from the ancient ampitheartre. This ampitheatre was so different to the one in Rome - this one was nice to look at and complete to boot, perfect set in red and white stone - oh so romantic!! The bad news is that the numpty at the tourism office told us that the ampitheatre was open so we totted off with excitement running through our veins only to be thwarted by a butch woman throwing people out as a show was due to rehearse - what a bummer

!So instead we had a wander around the glorious town of Verona and ventured to the Piazza Del Signori which was a medievil square with amazing statues and architecture - like a film set! We then visited Juliets balcony and I was even alowed to grope a female in public!! I should in theory have good luck after fondling her boob so we will see!!
We then splashed out on a chinese meal as we were still recovering from our bad eating habits from certain family members in Rimini!!
Right best go and see more amazing things - dont all work too hard!!
