Hello again fellow bloggers!

Well part two of the King family holiday has been and gone and they have left quite an impression on our travels!  The first thing to mention is the weather that they very kindly brought us - after 6 weeks of 40 degree days it poured down from the minute they stepped off the plane until we were back on the train hittin the high road!!  (Coincidense??  we don't think so!!)

Also the weight that we had shed (we were both looking rather trim!) has been piled back on in force due to the burgers, bangers, beans and chips in the English pub, The Rose and Crown!!

That's not the end of it - oh no!  We were subjected to artic winds in San Marino and was involed in all manner of wrong ways and map reading arguments, BUT WE WOULDN'T OF CHANGED A THING! The main square in Rimini

It was great to see Dave and Margaret, Paul and Justine and we were again spoilt rotten staying in a 4* hotel where Heather's even nabbed the slippers!!

We are now addicted to tarts thanks to these guys coming over and spoiling us and we are on the lookout for a special tart shop now (oh we are refering to the chocolate type of tart before you think there is any wrong-doing within the family......although if the offer stands...ahem!! - Check out the pictures and the different sizes of Tarts!

The week started off in the sun at the Sunflower Backpackers Hostel after a 12 hour journey from Sorrento which included 3 trains and 2 buses.  This place was ace!  It had everything including free internet, laudry (thank god!!) and kitchen where we once again indulged in making our own food!

Then came the rabble - but with a day trip into the beautiful San Marino and with beer and merriment, it turned out to be a great weekend!

Oh we did get chatting to a local bird!  She was perfect, with a beautiful fur coat with big eyes that you get lost into and great for the lads as she only spoke when spoken too!!  It was of couse only a talking parrot in the hotel reception!!!  We can still dream though eh lads!!

We are writing this from Verona now so stay tuned for the next installment!

Ciao

Well you can't beat a cup of tea with your family. Pity about the rain, hope it did'nt dampen your spirits.
