On Peter Marshalls recommendation we decide to go to the Island of Capri, a little Island just off the coast of Sorrento.
Luckily I stumble across a poster saying that the Hotel do an outing all transport to the boat, the boat trip, and bus back to the Hotel included so we decided to go for it and the weather was suppose to be nice for Tuesday!
Excited we got up early and enjoyed a big breakfast ready to be outside the hotel for 8.15am for the bus to pick us up (And it was on time).
Once on the boat it was like the movie The Perfect Storm!! Waves were threatening the existence of the boat and turning Heather green in the process!! Regardless of the amount of travel sickness pills she popped she still turned a shade green, altough it doesnt help when you are surrounded by a boatful of professional pukers!! A guy at the front with his head over the edge of the boat, 2 girls been sick into a bag but then passing it between each other and then a husband and wife been sick behind!! And to your left you can see..............Ummmm Capri!! Heather didn't see anything off the Boat Trip but did actually manage to get of the boat without been sick, a miracle really!
We had a 5 hour stop at the island until the boat took us back so we ventured around the island, although ended up taking Taxi's as the queue's for the buses were so long and then you were paked on so that you couldn't move. Their are some breath taking views from the tops which you can see from the pictures.
We got back to where we were been picked up by the boat early so that we could beat the Germans and make sure that Heather had a seat near the edge (just in case). After a lot of pushing we managed to get seated, although Heather got sat behind the guy that had been sick over the front all the way there................typical! Luckly it was alot calmer and made it home the same colour.
Exchausted we got back to the Hotel but decided we would like to go to Sorrento centre for a good meal to finish our stay with Liz and Ian. Seem liked a good idea until the bus didn't turn up and one when did it wouldn't let us on as it was full. A Canadian man then said he knew a way down to Sorrento town so we followed and 30 minutes later down the hills we arrived in Sorrento ready for a good meal and a drink! Great night and gorgeous food!
We are now moving from our most southern part of Italy to the most North Eastern place.................Rimini so we have a 12 hour journey to take up our day.
See you on the other side

Are you feeling ok
The island itself was beautiful but was spoilt somewhat by the huge number of tourists. Our friends from Germany are no longer friends after a stand off with Liz on the bus, we were told to get off as it was for a group of Germans however we had queued and been at the front and in true Brit form we would not BE MOVED!!!We had a 5 hour stop at the island until the boat took us back so we ventured around the island, although ended up taking Taxi's as the queue's for the buses were so long and then you were paked on so that you couldn't move. Rimini
what I remember about Rimini was the beach with rows and rows of deckchairs and the icecream seller shouting 'icecream, icecream we all scream icecream' was he still there?
