We were here for one day only as a day out to the leaning tower and boy what a structure it is. It is like nothing you can imagine - you somehow are disappointed and then you can't take your eyes off it!!
Pisa is very small and there is nothing but the tower so we just grabbed some pizza and looked out into the town which was pretty enough - but we are cruising through Italy at a rapid pace and so enjoy the piccys!
Oh but we did have a girly night in where we plucked, pruned and scraped as 5 weeks of travelling caught up with us and with hygiene in freefall - this was the place to give us a break from it and give us PISA mind!!
