We have moved on from Medieval Bologna to the gorgeous Florence, and boy have we been busy bees!
We have visited the impressive and memorising Cathedrale De Santa Maria which has to be the most aluring, amazing structure we have ever seen - both during day and night - it is simply a marvel to stare at!
On from there we took a walk down the winding long streets and glared in envy at all the designer shops - NO Heather you can't have a new pair of boots!!
After which we crossed the Ponte Vecchio which is a bridge lined from end to end of jewellery shops - and to think we were in need of a ring only days earlier!!
After a spot of lunch we ambled our way in the sun to the Piazza Della Signoria which hosts some of the most impressive galleries and statues of famous artists.
Today we have been over to Piazza Michelangelo to see the views of Florence and they did not disappoint - as you could see the bridges, spires and the old town just sitting peacefully - as you might of guessed, we love Florence!
Just had an amazing Mexican meal for tea - it's tough this travelling lark!
Right, Heather has her ring so I'm gonna tug on the purse strings for a footy top!

P.S a small mention for a dear friend of ours mr clingfilm who after a months solid service has left us for pastures new. (clingfilm will now we part of our travel history as a hero! - even though I hated it before we left!!)
Goodbye old friend!

Whats all this about. We saw a frenchman covered from head to toe in clingfilm, he was trying to jump across a campsite!Must be something to do with euroland! Regards Brenda.
